Do I need to support the valve?

All Clark Cooper valves are designed to be supported by the piping that goes into the valve.

What is the response time of the valve?

The response time of the EH30, EH40 and EH50 is dependent upon variables such as differential pressure, fluid viscosity, and voltage irregularities, but is almost always less than 1.0 second. The operation is not timed prior to shipment.

Can you have a vacuum on the outlet?

Yes. The inlet pressure must be higher than that at the outlet. See product pages for minimum required differential pressure on valves.
